10/28/2001 Entry: "Red Vistalites"

So the Vistalites are done. I took them to a gig last night to try them out. Boy, did they look cool! Boy did they sound bad! Well, not bad, but they're no Starclassics. They don't sound anything like a wood drum. Everything I've read about them says they're so loud. Well, not mine. At the end of the fisrt set, I ran out of headroom on the kick. I just couldn't smack the thing hard enough. And so, I've put a message up on Drum Center Forum to see if anyone wants to buy (or trade) them before they go to eBay. And since they're going to ebay, I'll need some pictures. I'll put them up soon.
