05/29/2002 Entry: "Drums almost done, and big Superstar kit available"

Well, I got another dum finished last night. The bass (big!) and snare (little) are all that's left.

Strange thing. Out of the blue today, a guy called me looking for advice with his Tama Superstars. It seems his dad recently passed away, and he came over from Hungary to take care of things. Since his dad's house will be sold, he can no longer store this gigantic drum set. 12", 13", 14", 15" (very rare), 16", and 18" toms, and a 24" kick. He contacted Northern Kindom Music (the best music store on earth), and they put him in touch with me. The sad part is he's not going to be able to get what he wants for it. At least, not before he goes back to Hungary on Sunday. He thought perhaps he would put them on ebay, and sell them as singles. But that takes some time. So, if you'd like a nice, albeit huge (!), drumkit, gimme a call, and I'll put you in touch with him. (I'd like to have it, but I need another drum set like I need another drum set!)
