11/22/2005 Entry: "Going to School on the Weekend"

So, what am I up to? Well, I played a high school musical for a couple of weekends. Firday was the last night for me. I couldn't do Saturday night, as I was playing The Center Theatre in Dover Foxcroft. They're renovating the place, and it looks like they're going to do a nice job. When I pulled into Main Street Dover/Foxcroft, there was the marquee: Tonight Only, Blind Albert Blues Band, Sold Out! (Picture will be coming.) Sunday, we had church in the morning, and in the afternoon we took Julia to see the play "Beauty and the Beast" at the high school. (Thanks Mom for watching the boys!) Then church again that evening.

So there's the weekend wrap-up.

I also have meant to mention that thanks to Amy and her Bad Groove, I've been taking some online courses. Barnes and Noble is offering free (for no credit of course) courses online. So I signed up for "The Bible as Literature" and "Grammar Fitness." Fun stuff! I'm really enjoying it. My father-in-law asked me if I would like to be a full time student. If I could find someone to pay for it, I'd love to! I think I'll also sign up here for more free Biblical training.

Jim, good luck with your surgery tomorrow.

Replies: 1 person has rocked the mic!

I am loving my courses too...but three are too many. Next month I am only taking one. I am stuck in the one lesson though :/ the Tenses lesson!!!
