11/27/2006 Entry: "Another NPR Mind Stir"

So I'm listening to NPR again this morning, as is my custom. They were talking about some new anti-virus chip that will do what current anti-virus software does, but in hardware. This will enable such devices as cell phones and, ahem, microwaves, to have virus protection.

Did I miss something somewhere? Do some people have their microwave on their home network? Do you log in from the office and start reheating your supper before you get home? What if there were file sharing from your microwave! Your friends could download their favorite treats you make them, directly from your oven!

Honestly, have you ever heard of a microwave with a virus?

Replies: 1 person has rocked the mic!

My coffee pot has a network card...
