I love the way that you place
gently
upon my cheek kisses

as you would your
fingers
around the stem of a glass,

or as you would brush your
hair
from your forehead

smiling

I wrote that for her a long time ago. It's the inspiration for the Poem Tag Project on the left hand side of the page. I was thinking about it today, and the only copy of it I have is an email. So I leave it here for posterity.
