08/29/2003 Entry: "Stamps"

Back in the day, I was a stamp collector. I stopped around junior high age. I gave my collection to a cousin who was taking it up. Bad move. Anyway, this came in the mail today. I recognized them right away. These were some of my favorite stamps! I couldn't believe someone still had some kicking around, and then used them for postage! They're from 1974! Outrageous! I'll hang on to them. Maybe I should start collecting again.

My favorite stamp? An Australian stamp with an Ahrens Fox fire engine on it. I still have that one. I may scan it for you later.

DJing a wedding tomorrow, so I may post in the morning. Other than that, it may be quiet from me this weekend.
