08/30/2003 Entry: "Ahrens-Fox stamp and wedding"

Here's that Ahrens Fox stamp I promised. Something else a little strange. Susan and I were looking through some old scrapbooks she kept from when we first strarted dating. Amidst the poetry (very bad!!!) and old high school newspaper articles I wrote (Bill's Psychedelic Etch-A-Sketch Lunchbox) was a picture of me from about 4th-5th grade. I was showing off my fire prevention poster (which one I prize, if I remember correctly), which showed a fireman's badge and, you guessed it, and Ahrens Fox fire engine I drew.

Also interesting... The name Ahrens Fox comes from a man and his son in law who ran the company. Actually, there was another son-in-law involved too, but his name wasn't included on the company billing. His name? Krapp. I'm not making that up.

I'm off to my wedding. Remind to post on that Texas woman's password.
