10/14/2005 Entry: "The MI-5 and Other Stuff"

1. What's your favorite vacation spot?
Disney World. Ever since I went, I want to go back. It was such great fun, and as soon as the boys are old enough, I plan on going again. This time, though, we'll stay right on the grounds, and let the Disney buses take us to the parks. And I might skip the Animal Kingdom, in order to give me more time at the Magic Kingdom.

2. Where do you consider to be the biggest hell-hole on earth?
I'm not that much of a traveler, so I don't have a lot to go on. Club Cairo in Lewiston was pretty dive-y. I saw just a little of Jamaica, and it had some of the best scenery, and some of the worst living conditions. Snorkeling there was great. Too bad the people have to live in such squalor.

3. What would be your dream vacation?
A tour of Abbeys/Cathedrals/Churches in Great Britain.

4. If you could go on a road-trip with anyone, who would it be and why?
Well, if it's someone I need to know first, then it would be Susan. I've always wanted to travel all of US Route 1, all the way down to the Keys, in a convertible. If I didn't have to know them first, then I'd like to take Cindy Crawford on a lobster boat ride to Frederick’s of Hollywood! :-)

5. What are your plans for this weekend?
The fam and I are going shopping somewhere. It's the only Saturday I have off this month. We're ostensibly going to find a replacement giraffe for Nathaniel, but we'll do some other shopping along the way. We don't know yet if we're going to Portland, Bangor, or Augusta.
