08/06/2008 Entry: "Scallops!"

Taylor is spending the night with Julia tonight. Her dad, David, dropped a little something off along with his daughter: scallops! They were HUGE! Though he works on a dragger, these were as big as diver's scallops. The image in the link are 10 - 20 scallops per pound. The ones he dropped of were seven per pound! we had to cut them in 1/2! I wrapped them in bacon, added some sea salt and pepper, and stuck them under the broiler. Oh my yummy heck! They were so good, I called him right after dinner and thanked him. What a nice surprise for a Wednesday!
