09/30/2002 Entry: "Gigs and computers"

Actually, if I play only the remaining gigs I have booked for this year, I will have played fewer gigs than the past 2 years. Really! Last year, and the year before, I played 62 dates. This year, if I don't book any more, I'll only play 58--down 4 gigs! No wonder I have so much free time!

You may say "Why is B.R. posting at 10:30pm?" Well, I'm helping a friend with a computer, and it's having a fit. I'm beating it into submission. I've got to have it done by morning. So I'm here at the office. There's a good work space, and all of my computer tools are here. Thus, I am here.
