05/15/2003 Entry: "Tequila and other foodstuffs"

Here are some crazy fun facts about tequila! Just kinda came up at work. Have you ever tried it? I haven't. What one food/beverage to you just have no interest in ever trying? Tequila is one for me. Also, pickled beets--I don't need to try them to know I won't like them!

Carol at The Pastry Garden let me sample some of her onion tart. OH MY! Onion lovers in Maine, you will need to try this! You won't be disappointed. While I was there, I also had a creme roll filled with buttercream (Yum) and a Boston Creme cupcake (YUM YUM!) The frosting on the cupcake was very soft, and very chocolatey. Assistant chef Susan commented the chocolate was too bitter. I said "Can chocolate be too bitter?"
