07/21/2003 Entry: "Cheap Sunglasses"

Several weeks ago, I had a discussion with Paddy about the lyrics in ZZ Top's tune "Cheap Sunglasses." He sings the song in our band Spork, and he sings the second line in the second verse as "In a funky pair of Levis, and her sweater's kinda tight." I always thought the line was "In her funky fine Levis. I did a search today, just for fun. The reults: about 50 / 50 What do you think it is?
